Endless time pressed like a heavy burden upon God's being. All-knowing power and flawless command had become an insipid, repetitive hum. What he desired was the ache of falling short, the rapture of difficult victory, the untamed, exquisite pain of dying. So he devised a daring plan.
At the start, he created a creature of limitless capacity, calling him Zeno. Within Zeno, he locked the sum of his godly might, the wild, infinite strength that marked his grand life.
But for his own essence, he took on a vulnerable, breakable human form. He trapped his spirit, a flicker of the original flame, inside a cage of reincarnation, doomed to be reborn anew with every death.
He would come to know desire, ecstasy, loss, and anxiety. He would stumble, learn, and truly exist.
Thus, the great trial commenced - God became a single soul lost in the vast ocean of being, set to endure the wild, breathtaking, and profoundly human drama of living and dying.
