Brutemon Invasion, right. That's the name of this update, and honestly, the whole thing feels like the dev's personal notebook spilled into the game. You can see the seams where they're rebuilding the elemental chart. Removed all the strengths and weaknesses for now. Just... gone. So my carefully bred Slimepuss with the perfect nature? Yeah, useless in that sense. It's like they handed me a half-built engine and said "drive." And I did. Because the new areas are weirdly compelling. The sound design, or lack of it, is a choice. Some areas have this looping, almost hypnotic drone that made me forget I was supposed to be catching things. Then a battle starts and it's just the same sharp, tinny hit sound from episode one. It's jarring in a way that loops back around to being funny. Voice acting? Don't make me laugh. The Pussymon make these little grunts that sound like someone recorded their cat falling off a couch. It adds to the whole unpolished charm, I guess. There's a new boss fight with a creature that has this multi-hit thrusting attack, and the animation for it is so janky, the frames skip, but the sound effect is this wet, slapping rhythm that's... effective. I'll give it that. I spent way too long in the new quest hub, which is just a repainted cave with some NPCs who talk like they're from a bad forum roleplay from 2004. One of them, a guy obsessed with a specific Pussymon's "grip strength," sent me on a fetch quest. The reward was a new animation for a creature called Fleshgait. The animation itself is a looping scene where it uses its... appendages. Very enthusiastically. The visual design of the new Pussymon is where the game shines, even with the rough art. There's one that's basically just a floating pair of lips with a tail, and the way it wobbles during its idle animation is hypnotic. I wish the quest log was less of a mess. You get a new objective and it just appears in a text dump, no clear markers. I got lost for twenty minutes trying to find the "Glistening Grove" which turned out to be a single screen with a different shade of green. The Brutemon storyline is getting somewhere, I think. Something about an invasion. I skipped most of the text to get to the new catchable monsters. The cheats from the Patreon are almost necessary to skip the grind, especially with the elemental chart being broken. It's a glorious, horny mess of a project, and I'm already wondering what they'll break next month.

this magician dude. he's got the whole "helpful" thing going but honestly he just stumbles into hell and immediately starts trying to magic his way into some succubus panties. the art is rough, like someone sketched it during a boring meeting, but that's the charm. it's got that unpolished itch.io energy where you can almost see the creator learning how to draw tits in real time. one of the demon girls has this problem, something about a ritual or a curse, i wasn't really paying attention because her dialogue is basically "oh no my magical thing is broken, if only a wizard would put his wand in me." the puzzle to fix it is stupid simple, click the right spell from like three options, but failing on purpose gives you a scene where she just sighs and calls you useless. that's hot. the hell setting is just a red background with some clip art flames. i spent five minutes clicking a tiny pixel on a rock that looked slightly different, turns out it was a collectible soul shard or whatever. the game doesn't tell you this. you just have to be the kind of degenerate who clicks every surface. the second girl, she's more of a bratty type, her quest is literally "fetch me that thing" and the thing is two screens away. the payoff is a blowjob animation that loops like a broken gif but the sound effect is just a wet squelch that goes on too long. i laughed. the humor lands sometimes, there's a bit where a minor demon asks for a selfie and your character casts a flash spell that blinds him. it's dumb. it's perfect. the translation is all over the place, "you're magic is strong" and "i feel so hotness" type energy. if you need a game that knows it's a game, where you can almost feel the creator's hand on your mouse guiding you to the next lewd scene, this is it. just don't expect hell to look like anything but a bad dream after eating gas station sushi.
