The Mating Season
Right in the middle of a sewer fight, April O'Neil's jumpsuit just... gives up. Not torn by a foot soldier or anything cool, just the zipper fails spectacularly and suddenly there's tits everywhere. The turtles freeze mid-nunchuck swing and the whole parody vibe clicks into place. This isn't some polished hentai thing, it's deliberately janky, like someone drew it on a napkin during detention. The redhead's proportions are ridiculous in that specific 90s cartoon way where the animators were definitely going through something. The humor lands weirdly well because it commits to the bit. April's trying to do her reporter thing while her clothes keep malfunctioning in increasingly stupid ways. There's a scene where she's interviewing someone and her skirt just slowly rides up frame by frame and nobody acknowledges it. The turtles are drawn with these deadpan expressions that make everything funnier. Michelangelo keeps offering her pizza during the most inappropriate moments. The whole thing feels like finding a VHS tape you weren't supposed to watch, complete with that fuzzy quality where you can't tell if it's intentional or just badly encoded. The mating season concept gets... creative. Let's just say the mutagen does more than make turtles humanoid. There's this one sequence with Raphael that I'm still processing, where the dialogue is trying so hard to be sexy but keeps slipping into turtle puns. Cowabunga indeed. The game doesn't explain its mechanics at all, you just click around and hope for the best. Sometimes scenes loop awkwardly, sometimes the audio cuts out completely. The whole experience is about fifteen minutes of confused arousal mixed with genuine laughter. Not sure if that's what they were going for but here we are. The cartoon art style makes everything simultaneously more innocent and more wrong, like watching Saturday morning cartoons through a very specific filter. April's character model has three expressions total and two of them are just different stages of her glasses fogging up.
