Obscura v2.5
i keep thinking about the mask seller. not a character, just this one background detail where you pick your disguise and the game lets you linger on it way longer than needed. the textures are deliberately rough, like someone drew them with a cracked tablet pen, and that jank actually works here. this whole market under the mountain feels wrong in a way that polished games never achieve. you're not some hero. you're desperate. and everyone else wearing porcelain faces knows it. the blackmail mechanics hit different when you realize there's no sex in this at all. none. the tags warned me but i still kept waiting for the corruption to turn into something titillating and it just. doesn't. instead you get these branching conversations where a stranger offers to guide you deeper into the market and you know, you absolutely know they're going to use you, but the other path leads to the guards who'll gut you for looking wrong. i took a deal with a woman who spoke in riddles and ended up watching her sell someone else's memories while i stood there complicit. graphic violence tag earns its place. the pixel blood splatter is almost disrespectfully simple. multiple endings but they all feel like variations of losing. which is the point probably. the dystopian setting isn't some grand political statement, it's just the quiet horror of transactions where human dignity is currency. i keep reloading to see if there's a way to save the kid with the bird mask, the one who trusts too easily. there isn't. or maybe there is and i'm just bad at navigating conversations where every dialogue choice feels like picking which knife you'll get stabbed with. the no sexual content thing is genuinely refreshing for a game about corruption. it understands that violation comes in many forms and some of them just look like a handshake in the dark.

Soul Merger v0.1
The first time you get a panty shot in this it’s framed like a goddamn jump scare. Like, full on horror sting and everything. The game knows exactly what it’s doing, mixing that weird Honey Select jank with a plot about your deadbeat dad vanishing and leaving you a house in a town called Dumbarton. Which, honestly, naming your town Dumbarton is a power move. You show up looking for answers and immediately get tangled with a girl who thinks she’s a pirate, another one who’s way too into cosplay and has an ass that the camera just cannot stop finding excuses to zoom in on, and a whole harem of weirdos in a school setting that feels like a fever dream someone had after watching too much anime and playing a low budget Resident Evil knockoff. The voyeurism stuff is baked right into the mechanics, not just the scenes. You’ll be in a POV conversation and the dialogue options are basically “be a decent human” or “stare directly at her chest until she notices.” And the blackmail route, man. It’s not some dark, gritty thing. It’s played for this absurdist comedy where you’re threatening to expose a classmate’s secret cosplay blog and she’s crying but her tits are jiggling like a bowl of jelly and the music is still this plinky plonky mystery tune. The sound design is a mess. A beautiful, horny mess. Voice acting during a teasing scene will suddenly cut out and leave you in silence with just the wet sounds, which is somehow more effective. I spent way too long on one choice where a monster girl cornered me in my room, and the decision to fight or hide felt less about survival and more about which specific flavor of “big tits in your face” death I wanted. The virgin protagonist angle means every encounter has this layer of panic that makes the explicit stuff feel more charged, even when the 3DCG models clip through each other during a supposedly tense blackmail payoff. The horror tag is real though, not just a label. There’s a moment with a shadow in the hallway that genuinely unnerved me more than the sex scenes, which then made the next teasing scene with the pirate girl feel like a relief. A weird, horny cycle.

Swimmer Admiration 2 [Demo v0.1]
The data doesn't lie, right. I track visual novel tags across platforms, and the corruption + sports uniform combo is seeing a 23% spike in downloads this quarter. So I booted this one up expecting the usual power fantasy. What I got was Aiden, this guy who's supposed to be all about revenge, but honestly the first time you see Kasumi in that volleyball gear the whole vengeance plot feels like an excuse. The blackmail mechanic is straightforward, you dig up dirt and then use it. But the game doesn't really interrogate why she folds so fast. One minute she's defiant, next she's on her knees. The oral scenes are explicit, no fade to black bullshit, and the animation loops are smooth enough. Her tits, god, they're massive and the titfuck unlock is probably what most players are grinding choices for. I spent way too long trying to trigger the stripping sequence in the locker room, the conditions are weirdly specific and the UI doesn't hint at what you're missing. The male domination angle is there but it's almost too clean. Like, the corruption track moves linearly and you never get the sense she might actually enjoy it, which is a missed opportunity. Some of the best performing titles in this niche let the power dynamic flip or at least get complicated. Here it's just Aiden calling shots and her complying. The handjob scene in the storage closet is hot though, the sound design actually carries it, wet noises that don't sound like a stock library. I wish the sporty girls tag meant more than just Kasumi, there's a whole team mentioned in dialogue but you never interact with them. That's the kind of DLC that would print money, a tournament arc where you corrupt the entire squad. But the dev seems focused on the family secrets plot which, whatever, the stepmom character has big tits too but her scenes are locked behind so many dialogue trees I lost interest. The 2DCG art style is consistent at least, no weird anatomy shifts between scenes like some Patreon projects.

The President's Daughter Episode 2
I don't know why the spanking scenes got me so hard. Like, the rest of the game is this whole political thriller thing with backstabbing and secret meetings and whatever, but there's this one moment where you mouth off to your dad's advisor and he just bends you over the desk. The animation is kinda janky, the 3D models have that plastic sheen that never quite looks like skin, but the sound design. Fuck. The way the slap echoes a half second after the impact, and your character's little gasp. I reloaded that scene like four times before moving on. The corruption path is where it's at honestly. You start as this perfect little doll in designer dresses, and by chapter three you're getting railed in a parking garage because some low level bureaucrat has dirt on your family. The blackmail stuff gets dark, real degradation kink territory, and the game doesn't pull punches with the humiliation dialogue. Your character's internal monologue shifts too, from "I can't believe this is happening" to "I wonder what he'll make me do next" and it's genuinely well written. The oral scenes have this desperate quality, lots of tears and mascara running, which the renders capture surprisingly well even if the hair physics are a disaster. I wish the rebellion path had more bite. You can technically fight back, use your body as a weapon, manipulate the men around you, but it feels like the writers were way more invested in the submission content. The BDSM scenes have proper negotiation sometimes, which is weirdly hot, but then other times it's just straight up noncon and the game treats it like Tuesday. The perk system is whatever, mostly just unlocks different flavors of the same scenes. Oh and there's this one character, some journalist guy, who has the most punchable face I've ever seen in a 3D render. I kept hoping he'd get killed off but nope, he's in like every other scene being smug. The big ass tag is not lying by the way, the character models are ridiculously proportioned, like someone turned the sliders all the way up and then kept going. It's distracting but also, you know, not complaining exactly.
