Teenage Cushion Fighter
The pillow fight mechanic is busted and I can't stop playing it anyway. You're supposed to click these falling pillows to build up some kind of attack meter, but half the time I'm just staring at the opponent's ridiculous physics. The one in the black lingerie set, forget her name, she has this idle animation where she shifts her weight and everything jiggles for like three extra seconds. Completely unnecessary. I missed three pillows in a row because of it. The bedroom arena is this cramped 3D space with terrible lighting, like someone left a single lamp on and called it a day. Your character stands there in basic underwear while the CPU opponent gets all the good outfits. Makes no sense. The cash system is grindy as hell, you earn maybe fifty coins per win and the "special pillows" cost hundreds. There's this one pillow shaped like a heart that does double damage, bought it after way too many matches, and it barely makes a difference because the hit detection is so inconsistent. Sometimes a pillow lands and nothing happens. Sometimes it lands and the opponent's top just. Pops off. No warning. The bonus rounds are where things actually get interesting, you unlock them after three wins in a row and suddenly the camera angles get real creative. Low shots, weird closeups, the whole thing feels like someone modded in a secret mode and forgot to mention it in the description. The teen tag is there but honestly everyone looks the same age, just different hair colors and bra sizes. There's this fight against a girl with pigtails where the pillow physics go completely insane, they just float sometimes, and I spent a solid minute trying to figure out if it was a glitch or intentional. Still don't know. The arcade structure means you're doing the same thing over and over, click pillow, watch damage, repeat, but the unlock system keeps dangling new opponents just out of reach. The last one, she wears this sheer thing that's barely there, took me forty matches to get to her and the fight lasted maybe twenty seconds because by then I had the rhythm down. Or the game just gave up. Can't tell which.
