Robin Quest
The fireball hits and her clothes just sort of vanish. Not burn off, not tear, just poof, gone. Which is honestly the most polished thing about this entire mess, because the rest of it fights you like a raccoon in a trash can. This is the original Robin Quest, the five years old prototype, and it feels like someone dragged it out of a crypt and said here, look at this corpse. Tentacles show up in the second stage, but they clip through the floor half the time so you're never sure if it's a threat or a fever dream. Supposed to be an arcade thing with a brunette cut purse princess, but the jumping is so floaty I kept overshooting platforms into instant death pits. Six times in a row. The controls map fine on paper, left right jump fireball, but in practice she slides like she's got butter on her boots. And the level design, sweet fuck, it's not even bad in a charming way, it's just empty corridors with enemy spawns that feel random. Hardcore my ass, the difficulty comes from fighting the physics engine, not the monsters. Which is a shame because when the nudity does trigger, there's a decent little animation loop, breasts jiggling, tentacles wrapping, that whole business. But you'll see it maybe twice before you alt tab to Twitter. I keep thinking about the Patreon goal note in the description. Dude made a promise, reached it, dumped this. Respect, I guess, but also why the blam threat? Let it get blammed. The fireball powerup feels good for exactly one shot, then you remember you can only throw one at a time and enemies take two hits. It's like the game forgot how to be a game and just left the horny parts on autopilot. Not even worth hate playing. It's just there, like a scab you keep poking.
