The Rubdown Institute 2: The customer is always right
The third client today asked for the usual shoulder work but kept shifting her hips like she was trying to tell me something without words. Ivan just nods and goes along with it, because that's the whole rhythm of this thing. You click through dialogue options that feel less like choices and more like deciding how long to pretend you don't notice the towel slipping. The game knows what you're here for and doesn't waste time pretending otherwise. The real models thing is weirdly effective. Not in a polished way, more like someone filmed their neighbor in a dim apartment and called it a salon. The video clips are short, grainy at the edges, and the audio sometimes cuts a half second too early. But that roughness actually helps. It feels less like a product and more like something you stumbled onto at 1am while clicking through tabs you'll close in a hurry. The massage minigame is just clicking hotspots until a meter fills, but the reactions from the clients are what keep you going. One of them laughs at a joke you didn't make. Another one just stares at the camera like she's already bored of you. Your girlfriend texts you between sessions and the contrast is almost funny. She's sweet, a little clingy, asks about your day. Meanwhile you're trying to figure out if the new client wants extra oil on her lower back or something else entirely. The pickup tag is there but it's not smooth. It's awkward, fumbling, sometimes you pick the wrong line and she just leaves. That's the part I keep thinking about. Not the nudity, not the moaning, but the silence after a bad choice. The game doesn't punish you, it just moves on. Like real life, except with more oil and fewer consequences.

The Rubdown Institute 3: Human Resources
The opening scene is a masterclass in setting expectations. You're a massage instructor at some institute, and the new intern walks in. She's a real model, brunette, wearing that tight little uniform that's one wrong move from a wardrobe malfunction. The video quality is deliberately rough, like someone filmed it on a phone from 2016, but that actually adds to the sleazy realism. You're supposed to be teaching her proper technique, but the dialogue options are all variations of "accidentally" brushing against her tits or suggesting she remove her top for better access. The game knows exactly what it is. The striptease mechanic is tied to your massage choices. Rub her shoulders too long and she starts breathing heavier. Use the oil option and her top comes off. It's not rocket science, but the real model footage makes it hit different than animated stuff. There's this moment where she's face down on the table and you can see her nipples harden through the fabric before she even takes anything off. That's the screenshot moment. Another one when she sits up and the towel slips. And the final one where she's fully nude doing this slow grind against the table edge while maintaining eye contact with the camera. My one complaint? The customer who shows up later feels tacked on. Like, we were building something here with the intern, and suddenly there's this other woman wanting a massage too. The game doesn't let you focus on one or the other properly. The decisions get muddy. I wanted more one-on-one time with the brunette, but the game keeps pushing this threesome angle that feels rushed. Also the audio is all over the place. Some lines are crystal clear, others sound like they were recorded in a bathroom. Not that I'm complaining about bathroom acoustics in this context, but consistency would be nice. The massage minigame itself is basically just clicking hotspots in the right order. Miss one and she gets annoyed and puts her clothes back on. It's simple but effective. You can tell the developers spent more time filming the model than coding the actual game. And honestly? That's the right call for this genre.
