Girls on Glass
The glass shards on this one, I keep thinking about the game where you flip cards and there's tits everywhere, and something about the winter holiday I spent in a tiny apartment with my heater making that clicking noise. Memory match with hentai, which is honestly a combo that should not work as well as it does. You pick two cards, the glass effect makes everything look like it's behind frosted window, and when you get a match the image clears up and you see some anime girl with ridiculous proportions. The big tits are everywhere, like the artist only had one setting, and I am not complaining. But the timing mechanic, christ. You have a little bar that runs out and if you're too slow the whole board reshuffles. I was one card away from finishing the second level, had the image half revealed, looked exactly like this one doujin I used to read on my phone during lunch breaks, and the timer ran out because I spent too long staring at the already matched pairs. Which is the trap with this kind of game. The gameplay is just that memory thing, nothing new, but every solved pair gives you a clearer view of some chick with her top barely holding on, and then you get punished for being horny about it. There is no skip or undo. One time I clicked the wrong card because my hand was, let's say, otherwise busy, and that mistake wiped out maybe forty seconds of progress. The sound design is just a soft chime for matches and a kind of low buzz for wrong choices. The thing I wish was different but will never be is that there's no animation. All static images, even at the end of a level when the full art unlocks. You'd think after matching every pair you'd get some little bounce or a jiggle, but no. Just the picture sitting there, very large, and the option to go next. I won't tell you how many times I replayed level one because the purple haired girl's expression from behind frosted glass was doing something to me该痛. Anyway the third image has a pose that is physically impossible without a broken spine, and I think about that more than the actual puzzle logic.
