Carmen Valentine has this way of looking at you that makes the whole "captured enemy general" thing feel backwards. You're supposed to be in charge here, right? The mercs caught her, she's the prisoner, but from the first scene she's already working angles I didn't even know existed. The art isn't polished in that squeaky clean way some VNs go for, it's got this rough edge to it that actually makes the erotic bits hit harder. Like finding a sketchbook full of stuff you weren't supposed to see. The sprite expressions though. They do this thing where her eyes narrow just slightly before a dialogue choice pops up and I swear my finger hovered over the mouse like I was actually going to get in trouble for picking wrong. About 20k words in this first day build which sounds light but the writing doesn't waste time on worldbuilding dumps. It's all tension and power plays. The gallery system is tucked into a side menu during scenes, which I kept forgetting existed until I'd already made choices and wanted to see what I missed. Why isn't there a way to just view everything after one playthrough? I don't know. Maybe that's the point. There's this moment where she's talking about what happens when her forces arrive and you realize you've been holding your breath. The mercenaries think they've won something. She knows better. The fantasy setting is just window dressing for what's really a story about who's actually in control, and the erotic scenes lean into that hard. Some of the CGs feel a bit static compared to how alive the sprites are, but then you get to a scene where she's barely moved and somehow that's worse. Or better. Depends what you're here for. The save system works with S or escape key which my fingers kept mixing up with the help menu bound to I. Small thing. Never stopped bothering me.

The loading screen is just a vault door and honestly it looks like someone drew it in MS Paint while drunk. I respect that. This Balsamique joint, this Fallout thing, it's not trying to be pretty. It's a horny sketch that somehow got coded into a browser tab and I'm not even mad about it. You're some wasteland merc and there's a woman with tits that defy the laws of physics, gravity, and probably the Geneva Convention. The whole seduction system is basically just clicking options until her clothes fall off. It's like playing rock paper scissors but every win gets you a nipple. I spent way too long stuck on the second dialogue choice because the translation is... let's call it creative. The English feels like it was filtered through three different languages and then transcribed by a ghoul with a head injury. At one point I'm pretty sure my character said something that wasn't even a real sentence, just words that happened to be standing next to each other. But then her top came off and I forgot what I was complaining about. The pickup lines are so bad they circle back around to being art. Pure Vault-Tec experimentation on language itself. The big tits tag is not lying. This is the main event. The entire game is a delivery system for these absolutely massive, physics-defying badonkers. The hentai influence is strong, the parody elements are there if you squint at the pip-boy reference, and the whole thing feels like it was made in a single caffeine-fueled weekend. It's janky, it's broken in places, and the seduce mechanic is about as deep as a puddle. But you know what? The game knows what it is. It's not trying to be New Vegas. It's trying to show you cartoon boobs in a post-apocalyptic setting and goddammit, mission accomplished. I wish there was more to do after the clothes come off but there isn't and there won't be and that's fine. I closed the tab feeling confused and slightly ashamed, which is probably the intended experience.
