Jump, Bunny 2
The achievement pops up and it’s just a crude drawing of a coin with “First Euro” underneath. No fanfare, no slick UI. Feels like something hacked together in Flash back when Newgrounds was the only place that mattered. That’s the whole vibe here. You’re clicking through a day in the life of this working girl, and the game doesn’t pretend it’s anything but a quick, dirty loop. She’s got that dead eyed look, the kind you’d see in a thousand old.swf files, and honestly, it’s almost nostalgic. The core loop is stupid simple. Client shows up, you pick a position, the animation plays. Rinse, repeat. The “daily jobs” structure is just a framing device for a slideshow of increasingly rough scenes. What got me was the weird little progression system tied to the achievements. You’re not just unlocking art, you’re unlocking these janky little badges that track her descent. “Five Clients Deep” or something like that. It’s a gamified corruption tracker and it’s so blunt it circles back to being effective. The art itself is unpolished in a way that feels intentional, or maybe it’s just genuinely unpolished. Lines are shaky, proportions go out the window in certain positions. But that messiness adds a grimy texture that a cleaner render would miss. It sells the fantasy of a sleazy, back alley encounter better than any hyper realistic Unreal Engine 5 project I’ve ever seen. The sound design is nonexistent. Just silence. I had a podcast running in the background about some true crime stuff and it weirdly synced up with a scene where a client gets way too aggressive. Wish there was at least a looping, low bitrate moan track. The lack of audio makes the whole thing feel like a prototype someone forgot to finish. But then you get an achievement for making a guy finish in under ten seconds and you remember it’s not trying to be a masterpiece. It’s a dirty joke you click through once, maybe twice, to see all the unlockable gallery images. The prostitute character never gets a name, which is a missed trick. Naming her would’ve made the whole “dirty slut” angle hit different, more personal. As it stands, she’s just a vessel for the animations, which is probably the point anyway.

SimBro
The whole thing feels held together with tape and hope. You got this brothel, right, and you’re hiring these game characters. Samus is there. Why is Samus there? Doesn’t matter. Her tits are huge and the stats say she’s a slut, so you put her in a room. The economic layer is a spreadsheet nightmare where you’re balancing their energy and their, uh, “customer satisfaction” score. It’s like a shitty mobile game but with dicks. I spent twenty minutes just clicking to upgrade a dildo or something, and the numbers went up. That’s the core loop. Numbers go up, a moan sound plays. My brain melted a little. But then the quests. Oh god, the quests. You take your whores and you go fight slimes in a turn-based battle that looks like an RPG Maker project from 2002. I can’t explain why. For unlocking features, I guess? My party was a big-titted prostitute with a sword and some other character I didn’t recognize. The combat is so basic it makes you appreciate the management part, which is saying something because the management part is just clicking on the girl with the lowest energy bar. I wish the battles had any connection to the brothel stuff. They don’t. It’s like two different games crashed into each other and the dev just shrugged. The “deliberately unpolished” thing is real. The text boxes are janky, the art is all over the place, some girls are detailed and others look like a sketch you’d find on a napkin. I got a game over because I forgot to pay the bills, and the screen just went black. No message, just black. I had to reload. There’s a whole android version, apparently. I can’t imagine the chaos of trying to play this on a phone, fat-fingering the tiny stat bars. The whole thing is a glorious mess, like if a horny excel sheet gained sentience and started having identity crisis about being a JRPG. The tits are great, the interface is not.

Pandorium: Small Business Rourke
Costello's stuff always has this weird, grimy texture to it, like you're scrolling through a forgotten flash site. Pandorium throws you into this alien pimp scenario, right? You're some dude named Daze, and the whole point is to manage these girls, get them hooked on pills, and pimp them out. The sex minigame is where it gets... interesting. It's not just a click and watch thing. You actually have to work for the payoff, matching rhythms or whatever, and if you mess up, the scene just kind of fizzles. It's frustratingly clunky, but that almost adds to the sleazy vibe. Like, of course pimping out a drugged up alien prostitute wouldn't be a smooth, polished experience. The art is pure Costello. Everyone looks a bit off, proportions are stretched in that specific way, and the whole thing has this unpolished, almost sketchy feel. It's not trying to be a triple-A porn game. It knows what it is. You get these girls addicted, watch their stats change, and then send them off to get gangbanged by weird alien creatures. The whole pill mechanic is dark, even for this kind of game. You're not just a manager, you're a dealer actively ruining them. I wish there was more variety in the johns, honestly. After the fifth tentacled thing, you start to recognize the same three sprites. The translation is a mess, which is part of the charm. Sentences just stop. Sometimes a dialogue box will pop up with what I assume is a raw code string. It's broken in a way that feels intentional, or at least, perfectly fitting. Forgot to mention the sound design. There basically isn't any, just a looping, tinny beat that drills into your skull. You'll mute it after ten minutes. But then you unmute it because the silence is worse. It's a game about degradation, and the whole experience, from the minigame to the broken UI, degrades you a little bit for playing it. Don't expect a happy ending for anyone involved.
