That fucking milking minigame. Nobody warns you about the milking minigame. You boot up a Bleach parody expecting the usual visual novel stuff, click through some dialogue, maybe see Rangiku's ridiculous tits spilling out of her shihakusho. Standard fare. Then suddenly you're managing a cow, or something, and there's this rhythm to it that makes no sense at first. My hand cramped up. Not from what you're thinking, just from the weird repetitive clicking pattern they force on you. The grind is real, and it's bizarrely compelling in a way that reminds me of those old flash games where you'd tend a farm but, you know, with Orihime's massive chest bouncing every time you succeed at a task. Rukia shows up and she's drawn with this flat affect that somehow makes her scenes hotter than Nel's, which is saying something because Nel's design here is absolutely unhinged in the best way. The redhead, the brunette tags, they're all there. Yoruichi's scenes have this dark skin glow effect that's clearly a preset filter but it works. Don't think too hard about the anatomy during the Rangiku segments. Just don't. One minute you're appreciating the absurd breast physics and the next you're genuinely strategizing how to unlock the next character route, which is when you realize the parody part has sunk its teeth in. The dialogue is stupid. I laughed out loud twice, then felt weird about it because of what was happening on screen. Big ass is a tag but honestly the focus is so aggressively on the chest region that anything below the waist feels like an afterthought. Except for one Yoruichi scene that made me forget what I was complaining about. The UI is ugly. Like, deliberately ugly, which I think is a choice but maybe it's just lazy. Hard to tell with these parody games. Sometimes the jank is the point. The milking thing comes back later and I still don't understand if I was doing it right but the rewards kept coming so whatever. Orihime's route has this moment where she rejects reality and substitutes her own, and if you get that reference we can be friends.
