Tali Zorah DLC Mission
Commander Shepard's quarters on the Normandy, but the textures are all... wrong. Like someone described the ship to an artist over a bad connection. Tali'Zorah's environmental suit has this glossy shine that makes it look less like emergency protective gear and more like a second skin waiting to be peeled off. Which, spoilers, it gets peeled. A lot. The game moves you through scenes with all the grace of a krogan on roller skates. One moment you're clicking through stiff dialogue trees that read like a horny teenager's text messages, the next Tali's mask is off and her face is... there. Just there. Not exactly the quarian features the lore built up over three games, but the kind of generic pretty that makes you shrug and click forward anyway. The vaginal scenes are anatomically ambitious in ways that would make Dr. Chakwas resign her commission. Bodies bend and twist through positions that suggest the developer studied human coupling exclusively through other adult parodies. There's something almost endearing about how seriously it takes itself while Shepard's model clips through the bed during a particularly enthusiastic cumshot sequence. The oral segments fare slightly better, mostly because faces are harder to catastrophically miscalculate than full body rigging. Tali's voice lines, ripped straight from ME2 and ME3, play at bizarre moments. She'll be mid-act and suddenly deliver a line about the Migrant Fleet with the same cadence, which creates a surreal audio experience I can only compare to watching a nature documentary overdubbed with political speeches. The whole thing runs in browser, no downloads, which means the compression artifacts add their own special seasoning to every scene. There's a moment where the camera does this slow pan across the Normandy's galaxy map while things are happening in the foreground, and I spent more time wondering why the star systems were labeled in what looks like Comic Sans than paying attention to the actual content. The sound design alternates between stock effects that echo like they were recorded in a bathroom and sudden silence, creating a rhythm that feels almost avant-garde. For a parody, it's remarkably sincere about its mediocrity, which I respect more than something polished that pretends to be more than what it is.
