Angel Tower
Getting on top of the society leaves no hopes on finding any angels here yet no one says it is impossible to do. But our story is not about them - our story is about Malcolm and Ginger who are lookng for their own paths in this world of fancy penthouses and luxury dungeons - the world of domination, harems, sexual training and anything else that only a very big money can buy!

The Last Enchantress: Revival
I keep coming back to the scene where Lora accidentally sets the library curtains on fire. Not because it's hot, but because the old librarian just sighs like this happens every Tuesday. That tiny detail, the weariness in his pixelated face, made me snort my drink. You don't expect that kind of quiet comedy in a game tagged "old and young" and "enchantress," but here we are. The tower setting is basically a vertical prison of bad decisions waiting to happen. Lora is young, stupid in the way only fantasy protagonists can be, and the game keeps asking me, an alleged adult, to steer her. I tried. I really did. There's this one choice where you can either study a forbidden spell or go bother the grumpy alchemist downstairs. I picked the spell, obviously. The resulting CG was... explicit. Let's just say magical backlash has a very specific interpretation here and it involves tentacles made of pure mana. The art style is rough, deliberately unpolished like the tags suggest, but that almost makes it filthier? Like finding a stained sketchbook under someone's bed. I wish the sound effects weren't just three stock moans on loop though. The wet noises are fine but the same gasp every time Lora's clothes vanish pulls me right out. I abandoned a playthrough halfway because I realized I'd locked myself into the "corruption" path and honestly, watching her get passed around by spectral knights in the dungeon lost its appeal by the fourth repeat. The game doesn't judge you for it, which is worse. It just keeps offering worse options with a straight face. My favorite terrible moment was convincing a younger apprentice to "help with a ritual" that definitely wasn't in any approved curriculum. The power dynamic there is fucked and the game knows it. You know it. Lora doesn't, and that's the whole uncomfortable point. I'll probably go back to see the "good" ending but I already know it'll be less memorable than the mess I made.

Isla Hearts v0.1.0
Lost another three levels to a slime girl on floor four. Not even a boss, just some random encounter with goo physics and a hip sway that should be illegal. The game doesn't care about your dignity. Fragment Tower just watches you fail and then Queen Isla, that pixelated bitch at the top, literally sucks the experience points out of your character while you sit there questioning your life choices. The corruption mechanic is where things get properly unhinged. Every enemy has this seduction attack that chips away at your resistance stat, and the visual novel scenes that follow are... specific. Like, someone on the dev team spent way too long thinking about exactly how a dark mage would whisper filth into your ear while her magic drains your willpower. The writing during these moments has this broken english charm that somehow makes it hotter, like reading dirty messages from someone who learned the language just to tell you exactly what they want to do. There's this one scene with a shadow tentacle thing where the dialogue is so awkwardly phrased it loops back around to being genuinely erotic. Can't explain it. The RPG part is barebones as hell. Click attack, click defend, watch numbers go down. But losing is the whole point, right? That's what I keep telling myself. You climb this tower, you get corrupted, you either resist or give in, and giving in costs you levels permanently. The romance paths with certain enemies caught me off guard though. Wasn't expecting to actually want the corrupted knight lady to remember my character's name. She doesn't. She just takes another level and calls me a good boy. Anyway the tower resets every run but the corruption carries over somehow and I still don't understand the math behind it.
