Pound Town: Accidental Meeting

The pool tiles in Fucktown have this weird shimmer, like someone cranked the bloom effect to eleven and then forgot to add shadows. It's the first thing I noticed, not the girl in the bikini. The water doesn't move right either, just this flat blue plane that the character models clip through when they do the swimming animation. I spent maybe five minutes just clicking around the locker room area because the door highlight was off by like twenty pixels to the left of where it should be. The pickup system is basically a multiple choice thing where you pick dialogue options, but the translation is so broken it loops back around to being funny. "Your swimsuit makes the water jealous" is an actual line you can say. She responds with something about her "big tits" being a flotation device, which, okay, points for self awareness I guess. The sex scenes unlock after you successfully navigate three conversation trees, and they're these looping animations with a speed slider that goes from "romantic" to "jackhammer" in one tick. No in between. The sound design during these scenes is just... wet slapping noises that don't sync with anything happening on screen. It's like someone's clapping in the next room. There's this one moment where you're supposed to apply sunscreen to her back, and the cursor turns into a hand icon, but the collision detection is so janky you end up rubbing her elbow for like thirty seconds before the progress bar fills. I don't know why that stuck with me. The whole thing feels like it was made in a weekend by someone who really, really wanted to see big tits in a bikini but only had access to a ten year old version of Ren'Py and some stock assets. The pool setting never changes, there's no day night cycle, and the other background characters just stand there like mannequins. One guy is permanently mid dive, frozen above the water. Nobody talks about him.
