The loading screen is just this close up of a rhino's ass in tight uniform pants and I knew, right then, this was gonna be something. The art is that specific kind of rough digital painting where the anatomy is exaggerated to absurd degrees but somehow it works. Samson's chest is wider than a truck, Harry has this nervous energy in his posture that makes him look perpetually guilty about something. The whole thing feels like someone's overheated sketchbook came to life. The sound design is practically nonexistent except for this one looping city ambience track that has what I swear is a distant car alarm buried in the mix. Drove me crazy for ten minutes trying to figure out if it was the game or my neighbor's actual car. It's the game. It never stops. Why would it stop. Got to the first real scene with Samson in the police station locker room and the pacing is... deliberate. Slow pans across muscle definition, dialogue that circles around what everyone actually wants. The text boxes have this slight delay between lines that builds tension in a way I didn't expect from something this unpolished. Harry walks in while Samson is changing and there's this long pause where the cursor just blinks. No music change, no dramatic zoom. Just silence and a blinking cursor. Honestly more effective than half the visual novels I've played that try too hard with effects. The oral scene that follows is described with this clinical attention to detail that somehow makes it filthier, like reading a biology textbook written by someone extremely horny. The way the text emphasizes the size difference between the brothers, the awkward positioning, Samson's internal monologue fighting between grief and arousal. It's messy. The whole thing is messy and that's the point I think. Wish the mobile scaling was better though. Had to pinch zoom constantly and my thumb kept activating the auto advance by accident during the anal scene with the bartender later. Missed three lines of dialogue about family drama because I was fumbling with the screen orientation. The furry tag is doing heavy lifting here, obviously, but the character writing is weirdly invested in making these rhinoceroses feel like actual people with baggage. Samson's dead wife, the runaway sons, Harry's desperate people pleasing. Then two paragraphs later someone's getting railed over a desk. The tonal whiplash should be jarring but it loops back around to compelling. Or maybe I'm just easy. The big ass tag is accurate. That's not a complaint.
