Turning Pool

The whole thing feels like a video from a phone that got dropped in a puddle. Not the visuals, those are surprisingly crisp for what it is, but the logic of it. A pool table spinning like a lazy susan from hell while a real model, some cosplay outfit barely hanging on, grinds against a pole in the background. You’re supposed to be sinking balls into pockets that are literally moving. It’s not billiards, it’s a carnival game designed by a horny ghost. She misses her shot, the balls clack together with a sound effect I swear is from a 2005 flash game, and a piece of her clothing just vanishes. Poof. The strip mechanic is tied to the opponent failing, which is a weird power trip. You don’t win by being good, you win by watching her fuck up on a table that makes no physical sense. The pole dancing is just a loop, a distraction that works way better than it should. I spent a solid minute just watching her hips sway, completely forgetting it was my turn, the cue stick just sitting there. The cosplay element is lazy though, it’s just a wig and a generic outfit that clips through her shoulder when she leans over for a shot. Saw that and it took me right out of it. But then she missed again. The bra disappeared and the physics on her chest did something that defied both gravity and good taste, a jiggle that lasted a beat too long. The arcade striptease loop is a filthy little dopamine button. The game itself is broken, the aiming is floaty and the spinning table speed feels random, but I kept playing. Not for the billiards. The billiards is trash. I kept playing because I needed to see the next stage of the striptease, that slow, awkward shuffle out of a skirt while the table creaks around. It’s a mess. A sticky, unpolished, glorious mess that knows exactly what it is. The real model just stares at the camera sometimes, a dead eyed look that’s somehow hotter than the whole pole routine.
