the first thing that hits you is the music. some stock smooth jazz loop that belongs in a dentist's waiting room circa 2004. adelle stands there, this blonde real model type, looking slightly to the left of the camera like she's already regretting the photoshoot. you draw a line back from the cue ball, angle it, release. the physics are... fine. perfectly serviceable. sometimes the ball clips through the corner of a pocket in a way that makes you question reality itself but who cares, you're not here for the pool. adelle's top comes off after you sink three balls. or was it four? i already forgot. the stripping is tied to your accuracy which creates this weird tension where you're genuinely trying to line up trick shots while half distracted by the jiggle physics that aren't physics at all, just a canned animation loop that plays regardless of what's happening on the table. you could scratch the cue ball and she'll still do the same shimmy. it's almost endearing how little the two systems talk to each other. the whole thing runs in browser, no fuss, and the line drawing mechanic is actually kind of satisfying in a flash game from 2009 way. you pull back, the dotted line extends, you adjust, release. sometimes the ball goes exactly where you aimed. other times it veers off at an angle that defies geometry and you just stare at the screen like "okay sure." adelle doesn't react to your failures. she just stands there, waiting, occasionally shifting her weight from one foot to the other. the arcade mode keeps score but i stopped paying attention after the bra came off. not because i was mesmerized, but because the billiard ai is braindead easy and you'll clear the table in two turns if you have even basic spatial reasoning. there's something almost meditative about it. draw line, watch balls clack, watch clothes drop, repeat. the real model gimmick works i guess, she looks like a person who exists, but the looped idle animation makes her seem trapped in a very specific purgatory where she's forever about to say something but never does.
