CyberSin: Red Ice

Elsa Morganth has tits that could end wars. Not kidding. The first CG you unlock, she's leaning against some neon-drenched window in nothing but cyberpunk underwear that looks painted on, and I just stared. For like, a full minute. The artist knew exactly what they were doing with those curves. Big boobs tag doesn't even cover it. These are weapons-grade. The setup is some dystopian corpo drama. Elsa's daddy runs one of the mega orgs controlling everything, she gets framed for a crime, now she's slumming it through the underworld trying to clear her name. Standard noir stuff but with holograms and chrome everywhere. You click through scenes, make choices that sometimes matter and sometimes don't, and unlock these gorgeous CGs. The detective angle is there I guess. You're supposed to piece together who set her up. Honestly I forgot about the mystery for a solid twenty minutes because I found a scene where she's getting interrogated by this shady fixer type and her shirt just... gives up. The way the fabric tears. Chef's kiss. The sci-fi aesthetic carries hard. Lots of blue and pink lighting, rain-slicked streets, implants and body mods everywhere. Very Blade Runner if Deckard was horny and also a woman with an absolutely ridiculous chest. The writing is whatever. Serviceable. Sometimes it tries to be clever with the cyberpunk lingo and just sounds like someone who read a Neuromancer wiki summary once. But who cares. You're not here for the prose. There's this one scene in a back-alley clinic where Elsa has to get scanned for evidence and the machine malfunctions. The way her body reacts to the scanner pulses. The artist understood the assignment completely. I keep coming back to that image. The game knows what it is. A delivery system for really well-drawn hentai with a plot that occasionally remembers to exist. The mystery resolution is predictable but the journey there has enough skin to keep you clicking. Just don't expect Disco Elysium. Expect boobs. Big ones. In space. Or whatever. Future. You get it.
