The tavern management thing is actually kind of addicting, I spent way too long dressing up the workers in different outfits just to see their little dialogue changes. You get this board and can hire like 12 characters, upgrade areas, deal with bad events. It's weirdly satisfying for a porn game. The debug code kginsertcoin gives 500 gold if you're lazy like me. Not gonna lie, the reduced image quality here is noticeable, you can get the full res on their blog but who has the patience for that. Jenara in the war camp. That's what I'm here for. Her events are obsessive in a way that scratches that yandere itch, the way she looks at Elana with this mix of worship and hunger. Three events so far with more promised, and the standing animation loops in a way that makes you just watch. Cliff is there too, whatever, but Jenara's scenes have this tension where you're not sure if she wants to serve or consume. The church room starts a chain called Caoticus Anonymous which is such a dumb name but the acolyte system has potential once they actually add content for it. Right now it's just placeholders and promises. The nymph events are random, 50% chance for an image, 50% chance to restore stats. It's a coin flip and honestly the stat restore feels like a waste when you're edging for the scene. Combat's been nerfed which is good because the old difficulty made me want to throw my laptop. The quest log helps track things but some triggers are still obscure, I had to check the wiki three times for the innkeeper chain. The academy events add like 20 scenes and some of the images there are actually hot, the teacher character has this stern thing that breaks down real slow. Music's from some Newgrounds composers, it loops too fast and I ended up muting it after ten minutes. The erotic audio from listentopo is hit or miss, sometimes it adds to the mood, sometimes it sounds like someone moaning into a tin can. For a flash game in 2018 it's ambitious, the writing in events is surprisingly decent when it focuses on the obsessive dynamics, but then you hit a generic observing event and it's just... there. The elven city images are pretty but empty. I keep coming back to manage the tavern though, assigning the right workers to the right spots, waiting for the bad events that never seem to trigger when I want them to.
