You know that feeling when you're scrolling through your backlog, half paying attention to some stream on the second monitor, and you click on something new expecting the usual. thirty minutes of clicking through the same sad anime face templates. This one is different and I almost closed it before anything even happened. The ai cg thing, look, I get the hate but here it kinda works in a weird uncanny valley way where everyone's proportions are just slightly off. Like the landlady's chest, it's there in the tags but seeing it in the art style, it's like someone described melons to an alien and the alien did its best. Not a complaint. Just an observation. The writing though. Ten days to leave the country and the protagonist just decides to burn every bridge by chasing three women who are all basically unavailable. The convenience store manager is married or something, the workplace senior has a thing going on, didn't really catch the details because the kinetic novel format means you're just along for the ride. Some choices apparently but I never saw a single one. Kept waiting. The dialogue tree must be buried deep or maybe I just picked wrong at the start and locked myself into one path because it just kept going. The farewell thing as a pickup line is so stupid it circles back to genius. chikan tactics but with emotional manipulation instead of the train. There's this one scene early with some light groping in the back room of the store and the way the text describes the hesitation before she gives in, the netorare element is right there but it's not cuckoldy in the usual sense. It's more like everyone involved knows this is a terrible idea and the heat comes from watching them make it anyway. The creampie stuff would've hit harder with proper animation but what's there is serviceable enough, just static frames with some dialogue. Loading times between scenes on my phone were atrocious, the site's built for desktop clearly but whatever. That one toy scene near the end with the senior, the writing actually got me for a second, before it just sort of stops and you're looking at a credit screen wondering if you missed a whole branch of content. Guess that's the multiple endings part. Or not.
