Right out the gate you're watching some alien goo slither up your dude's leg and the first thing he does is grin like an idiot. No panic, no existential dread, just a weird boner and a new voice in his head that's really into the idea of bending his landlady over the kitchen counter. The game doesn't even pretend to have a traumatic backstory. It's basically "what if the Venom symbiote was just a cosmic horndog and you were its willing meat suit." The whole thing runs on this janky but oddly charming 3DCG engine where everyone looks like they're made of slightly melted wax, but the animations. Look. When that symbiote forms a tentacle during a handjob scene and the girl's eyes go wide, you forget about the stiff hair physics. The corruption mechanic isn't deep. You just keep doing lewd things and the meter fills up and suddenly the quiet neighbor is suggesting things that'd get you banned from a Brazzers comment section. There's this one scene with the scientist milf where the symbiote splits off to double team her and the sound design, which is usually just stock squelching, actually syncs up perfectly with the thrusts. Chef's kiss. Combat exists. I think. You punch some generic monster guys and sometimes a tentacle grabs them and honestly I just clicked through to get back to the sandbox part where you manage your harem's corruption levels. The exhibitionism stuff gets genuinely unhinged. You can have the symbiote partially manifest in public and the text descriptions get weirdly specific about bystander reactions. Why does the coffee shop girl have more dialogue than the final boss? Not complaining. The multiple endings thing is a lie or maybe I just kept picking the same dialogue options because they led to anal. Who's to say. If you've ever thought "I wish Prototype had more creampies and less brooding," this is your broken, horny mess of a game. The cheating tag is there but it feels more like aggressive polyamory with extra steps and more glowing purple veins.
