Memory Photobook

I keep coming back to this thing even though it's basically broken. That's what gets me. The memory card flip mechanic is standard, you know the drill, match the pairs before the timer runs out. But the difficulty scaling is all wrong. Easy mode gives you like 8 cards and you're done in thirty seconds, then hard mode throws what feels like 40 cards at you with zero ramp up. No medium. Wait, the description says there's medium. I genuinely forgot it existed because I always skip straight to hard and regret everything. The whole concept is a parody but of what exactly? It's just Devil May Cry Dante but with boobs. Not complaining about the boobs. The nude cards unlock as you complete levels and they're actually well drawn, proper hentai style with that glossy skin shading that makes everything look wet. The logic part is nonexistent though. It's pure memory, no strategy beyond hoping your brain remembers where the pink haired girl was three flips ago. I spent ten minutes on hard mode yesterday because I kept getting distracted by the art and forgot which card I just revealed. The photobook collection thing is where it gets addictive. You build this gallery of characters and I found myself replaying levels just to see if I missed any variants. There's something satisfying about filling those slots even though the game itself is deliberately unpolished. The card flip animation sometimes lags for no reason. The sound effect when you match a pair is this weird chime that doesn't fit the aesthetic at all. I hate it. I've played it four times this week during my lunch break, phone propped against my keyboard while pretending to read emails. The browser based thing means no downloads which is convenient for obvious reasons. Just open a tab and suddenly you're matching hentai cards while your boss walks by. Not that I'd know anything about that.
