Forsaken Throne

So the engine on this thing is a mess, right? It's running on HTML, which you'd think would be smooth but the save system is held together with string. Lost my progress twice during that scene with the landlady, the one where you first tap into the primordial power and she just... submits. The mind control mechanics aren't explained at all, you just click and suddenly her dialogue shifts from annoyed to desperately eager. The cuckoldry angle comes in later with her husband, and the game doesn't give you a clean way to back out of that path if you misclick. I wish the UI had some kind of indicator for corruption levels or something, but it won't get that update. The real model photos are a weird choice. Grainy, clearly pulled from somewhere, and they don't always match the character descriptions. But somehow that jank works for the fantasy? There's this one choice sequence where you can either dominate the milf neighbor completely or let the power leak and affect her son instead, and the roleplay branches from there get genuinely twisted. The story tries to be an RPG with stats but it's all smoke and mirrors, your choices matter more than any number. I kept waiting for a level up screen that never came. My phone's browser handled it fine until the third chapter, then the memory leak kicks in and you're refreshing every ten minutes. Chrome on desktop is better but still chugs during the more explicit domination scenes. The writing has this raw, unpolished quality that makes the heavy themes hit different than a slicker game would. Like when you finally learn to control the power and the world doesn't end, but you've already ruined three relationships. The fantasy elements are just window dressing for the power trip, and the game knows it. Dare to play it alone, or invite company?
