I went in thinking, okay, another corruption game, I'll be the good guy, skip all the nasty stuff. The game says you can play a wholly good route. It's right there in the description. So I'm clicking through, being Mr. Nice Guy, helping my best friend with her money problems because my crypto or whatever finally mooned. No funny business. I'm practically a saint. Then the footjob scene happened. I don't even have a thing for feet. They're just... feet. But the way it was written, this slow, almost bored teasing while she's on the phone with her boyfriend, the cheating tag just hanging in the air like a bad smell. I didn't click skip. I just sat there, feeling like I'd walked into the wrong room at a party and decided to stay. The 3dcg is rough, like someone learned Daz3D last week and hasn't found the subsurface scattering slider yet, but that almost makes it worse? Better? It feels grimy in a way a polished game doesn't. The male protagonist's face is a blank slate of smugness and I hated him and I kept clicking. There's this whole blackmail system that I mostly ignored because, you know, pacifist run. But the game keeps dangling it. You have unlimited resources. You can be a force for good or evil. The menu screen practically winks at you. I wish the romance path had more actual... romance? It's mostly just her being stressed and you nodding along until the next rent payment is due. The spanking scene comes out of nowhere if you pick a certain dialogue option that seemed totally innocent. I reloaded. I think. The corruption isn't just the characters, it's the game slowly making you okay with the ugly renders and the stilted animations because the scenarios are so specifically, deliberately uncomfortable. Dare to play it alone, or invite company? No, don't. This is a solo mission, a weird little shame cookie you eat in the dark.
