The whole thing is basically just waiting for them to fuck. That sounds like a complaint but it's not, not really. You get this one bed setup, classic, and then the game just sits in that tension. It's a kinetic novel so you're not choosing dialogue or anything, you're just watching these two dance around the obvious. One minute they're talking about the shitty hotel wallpaper, the next there's a hand on a thigh and then someone panics and pulls away to make tea that doesn't exist because it's a hotel room. The art is simple 2D, kinda rough around the edges honestly, but it works for the vibe. Like a sketchbook where someone kept erasing and redrawing the same intimate moment. I got weirdly fixated on the silence. There's this long stretch where neither character speaks and the text just describes one of them breathing, the slight movement of the sheets. Most games would fill that with internal monologue but this one just lets it hang there. Made me think about how much of sex is just that, the quiet before, the hesitation that's also part of the arousal. The writing isn't trying to be poetic, it's more like someone transcribed a real awkward hookup between two women who've been friends too long and are terrified of ruining it. The explicit content is there but it's not the point. When they finally do get handsy it's described in a very matter of fact way, fingers and mouths and the specific sound of skin on cheap hotel sheets. No flowery metaphors about blooming flowers or whatever. Just two lesbians finally getting over themselves. I wish there was more of the actual sex, to be honest. The buildup is the whole meal and the payoff is like a quick dessert. But maybe that's the point. The courage to take the plunge is the real orgasm here or some shit.
