Grandmas House Part 4 v0.68

Wanted to hate this one, I really did. The whole setup is so shamelessly copy-pasted from every landlady game that's been floating around the last three years. College kid comes home, and immediately the older woman in the house is giving him looks. Fine. Whatever. But then you click through the first few days and realize it's not the landlady at all, it's grandma's friend staying over. Something about that specific substitution made my brain short-circuit in a way I wasn't ready for. The shower scene is where it got me. You know the one, peeping through the crack in the door while she's washing, and the steam is doing that thing where you can almost see everything but not quite. The game doesn't bother with fancy animations or anything, it's just static images that change slightly, but the writing during that moment... fuck. She catches a glimpse of you through the mirror and instead of screaming or slapping you she just sort of pauses, tilts her head, and goes back to washing slower than before. That one detail. That one fucking detail had me restarting the scene three times just to read it again. The sleep groping mechanic is janky as hell, by the way. Sometimes you click and nothing happens for a full ten seconds and then suddenly three actions trigger at once and she's awake and you're kicked back to the menu. Annoying. But when it works, when you time it right and she murmurs something half-asleep about how you shouldn't but her hips are moving anyway, it's the kind of thing that sits in your stomach for hours after. The morning wood scene is almost too predictable but the dialogue saves it. She doesn't do the whole shocked innocent routine. She's been around, you can tell, and the way she talks to MC while he's standing there embarrassed, half scolding half curious, feels more real than any of the high budget VNs I've played recently. Makes you wonder why more devs don't just write women who've actually lived a life instead of these twenty year old virgins with the personality of wet cardboard. The CGs are inconsistent though. Some look traced, some look rushed, and in one scene her face is at a weird angle that makes her look like a completely different person. Wish they'd fix that but they won't. These games never get patched properly.
