Forbidden Dungeon v0.1.4

I told my son this wasn't a Pokemon game. He nodded but I still don't think he understands what "roguelike" means. Forbidden Dungeon has you picking one of several protagonists, each with their own corruption bar that fills up as you go deeper into these randomly generated floors. The combat is turn based, very Darkest Dungeon if that game had tentacle monsters that could knock up your party members. Yes, pregnancy is a mechanic here. Not a joke. Characters can get pregnant mid dungeon and it affects their stats and what happens to them later. The AI generated art is... inconsistent. Some scenes look genuinely good, others have that weird sheen where you can tell a machine made it and the hands are doing that thing AI hands do. But honestly when you're watching your female mage get double penetrated by orcs while wearing a ball gag, you stop caring about finger counts. The exhibitionism tag is earned, characters lose clothing as they take damage, and there's BDSM elements woven into the corruption system. I wish the roguelike elements were tighter, sometimes the RNG just decides you're losing a party member and there's nothing tactical about it. The Solo Leveling inspiration shows in the progression, you get stronger between runs, but the parody elements are surface level at best. I found myself more invested in the corruption paths than the actual dungeon crawling, which maybe says something about me or the game. The sex toy integration during combat is a nice touch, enemies use them on your party and vice versa, and the multiple penetration scenes trigger based on positioning. My biggest complaint is the translation quality, some dialogue reads like it was put through three different languages before English, and the male protagonist route feels undercooked compared to the others. The tentacle floors are where the game really shines though, they went all out on those animations.
