Saving Paula v0.0.33

Paula Honeybottom. That name. It's like a joke that keeps going, and honestly, the whole game has this weird soap-opera vibe that's so over the top it circles back to being kind of brilliant. She was a star, then a housewife, then her husband Dick (yes, really) leaves her for a younger piece. Now she's a mess, and you're basically steering her life through two younger people living with her. Who are they? The game lets you pick. That's where your brain starts doing backflips because the options are... well, you can make them her kids or not. The incest tag isn't hiding, it's right there waving at you. The corruption path is what got me. You can nudge Paula toward being this desperate, horny milf who starts peeking on the girl in the shower, or you can push her to get fit and become some kind of 42-year-old teenager again. The body actually changes based on your choices, which is a neat trick. I spent way too long trying to get her into a lesbian thing with the younger woman, just watching through a crack in the door like a creep. The voyeurism feels grimy in the best way. The dialogue is pure cheese though, like someone translated a telenovela through a porn filter. Sometimes it's hilarious, sometimes you just click through it to get to the next scene where she's touching herself while thinking about the mailman or whatever. I wish the multiple endings were more... multiple? It feels like you're on rails toward a few big moments and the rest is just flavor. But then you get a scene where Paula is corrupting the boy while the girl watches, and you forget about structure entirely. The 3D models are that specific kind of janky where the tits have their own gravitational field. It's not pretty but it's got this earnest, horny energy that makes you keep clicking. The gilf potential is there too if you squint, some side character who's way too involved. It's a mess. A sticky, ridiculous mess that knows exactly what it is.
