The management stuff is where it gets weirdly compelling. You're supposed to be running this gay studio, right? But the game never really explains how any of it works. There's these sliders for budget and marketing and something called "talent satisfaction" that keeps dropping for reasons I cannot figure out. I spent twenty minutes trying to get this one performer to stop looking miserable in every scene and eventually just... gave up. He's still there, frowning through a gangbang. Nobody seems to notice. Then there's the dad. Leonard King. What a piece of work. Shows up in these cutscenes wearing what I can only describe as "divorced villain" attire and drops these cryptic lines about the industry that sound profound until you think about them for half a second. "In this business, desire is just another spreadsheet." Okay, sure Leonard. Whatever you say. The game treats him like he's some kind of genius but honestly he just seems like a regular asshole who happened to get rich. The sex scenes. Right. These are... fine? Sometimes they trigger at weird moments. Like I'm in the middle of a conversation about quarterly earnings and suddenly there's a closeup of someone's dick. Not complaining exactly. Just saying the pacing is strange. The writing during these scenes tries too hard to be poetic and ends up sounding like someone discovered the word "throbbing" on Urban Dictionary and decided to build a personality around it. Wish there was more to do in the city itself. The arcade is cool, this neon-soaked retro place where you can meet this twink named Alex who's way too into DDR. But most locations are just backgrounds with one interaction. You click, you get a text box, you leave. I don't know why I keep playing it. Probably won't finish it. But I said that three days ago and here we are.
