so i got into this thing called the family tavern, right? and i thought, okay, another one of those. but then the old pervert shows up. just... standing there. watching. the game knows he's creepy. you can feel it in the way the camera lingers on him when your character isn't looking. it's all about that slow corruption, the little gropes that happen when you're supposed to be managing the bar. the 3dcg is janky in a way that actually helps, like those weird youtube videos you find at 2am that feel too real. the spanking scenes caught me off guard. not because they're extreme, but because of the sound design. there's this one moment with the big tits character, she's leaning over the counter, and the animation loops but the audio doesn't quite match. it's like they recorded the sounds in an empty room. the male protagonist is supposed to be you, i guess, but i kept forgetting that. kept getting distracted by the voyeur bits where you're just... observing. the drama tag makes sense now. it's not shakespeare, it's that feeling when you're watching something you shouldn't and the game knows it. the corruption isn't instant. it's in the way characters start standing differently after certain scenes. the big ass character, the one who runs the kitchen, she starts wearing less and i didn't even notice until the third time i played. there's this moment where you're supposed to be serving drinks but instead you're just staring through a crack in the wall. the game doesn't punish you for it. that's the whole point, isn't it? the masturbation scenes are animated like they're embarrassed to exist. the frame rate drops during the groping bits and honestly? that's more effective than any polished triple-a thing could be. i don't know if i'm reviewing this or confessing. the tavern itself feels like a character, all dark corners and bad lighting decisions. the old pervert keeps showing up in places he shouldn't be and the game just lets him. i think that's the survival part. not losing what's dear while everything around you gets slowly, deliberately worse.
