Long Straight Flush

The card catching minigame is broken and I love it. Not broken like it crashes, broken like the scoring logic has a seizure when you chain more than five cards and suddenly the multiplier goes nuts. I spent twenty minutes trying to figure out if the straight flush detection was bugged or if I just didn't understand poker anymore. Turns out it's working exactly as intended, the game just doesn't bother explaining that you can link cards diagonally. Diagonal. In a poker game. Chat would've roasted me for missing that. The real models thing is weirdly compelling. Not the usual uncanny valley stuff, these are actual women in lingerie doing these little idle animations between rounds. The blonde one keeps adjusting her strap like it's genuinely uncomfortable and that tiny detail did more for me than any of the polished 3D renders in other games. Strip mechanics are straightforward, win a round, she loses a piece, but the pacing is all wrong. You'll go three rounds with nothing happening then suddenly she's topless and you didn't even notice the bra come off because you were too focused on trying to catch a seven of hearts that keeps bouncing off the edge of the screen. The catcher part is where it gets stupid. Cards fall from the top, you move a little basket thing, and the hitbox is absolutely unforgiving. Missed a queen by what looked like a pixel and the game acted like I'd personally insulted its mother. No continue screen, no mercy, just straight back to the menu. The arcade structure means you're constantly restarting and the loading between attempts is just long enough to be annoying. Not rage quit long, but definitely "scroll Twitter while waiting" long. Wish there was a gallery mode for the unlocks. You grind through these increasingly ridiculous card patterns and the only reward is seeing it happen once in the moment. No replay, no collection screen, nothing. For a game that's clearly designed around completionist bait, that's a weird omission. The striptease animations are hot though, especially the one where she turns around slow and the lighting hits different. Real model work shines there. Just don't expect to see it often unless you're way better at catching virtual cards than any reasonable person should be.
