Caleb Watson is a mess and I mean that as a compliment. The guy's got this itch for truth that's gonna get him killed or worse and you're just along for the ride watching his stats tick up like some degenerate RPG. The class system is there I guess but who cares when the real progression is how deep he sinks into the paranormal gutter. There's this one scene early on with a shadow thing that's all wrong angles and too many limbs and the way it moves. Not scary exactly but unsettling in a way that makes the later lewd stuff hit different. The monster designs are actually unhinged. Big tits big ass yeah yeah but they're wrong. Like someone took a hentai tag list and ran it through a creepypasta filter. There's this one entity with anatomy that doesn't make sense and the oral scene with it had me staring at my screen like wtf am I watching. The animation is janky sometimes, 3DCG that looks like it was rendered on a potato from 2014, but honestly that adds to the whole cursed vibe. If it was too polished it wouldn't work. The school setting feels almost normal until you notice the background characters don't move right and then you're in a fantasy realm getting teased by something that has too many teeth. The superpowers are whatever, standard magic stuff, but the way they tie into the branching narrative is where it gets good. You can feel the cost of every choice in your gut. Not like oh no my morality points but like actual dread. The stat progression isn't balanced at all and some paths just dead end with no payoff which is frustrating but also kinda realistic? Like sometimes you just lose. The combat isn't even fully in yet which is annoying because there's hints of puzzle mechanics that would make the lewd scenes feel more earned instead of just clicking through. Wish they'd finish that instead of whatever they're doing now. The teasing is relentless though, every scene builds this tension that the janky animation somehow makes hotter. Don't ask me why.
