Divided Heart

The wife in this one, blonde, got that look like she's been holding back for years. You know the type. I spent way too long just clicking through her morning routine, watching her make coffee, the little sigh she does when her husband leaves for work. The game is basically a series of choices about who you're gonna pursue, the husband or the wife, and what kind of mess you want to make. It's from Lesson of Passion, so you already know the art style if you've played any of their stuff before, that slightly stiff but somehow still hot look where everyone has these intense stares. The threesome tag is there but it's not like, thrown at you. You gotta work for it, make the right picks, and honestly I messed up my first run completely. Ended up with nobody getting what they wanted, just this awkward dinner scene where the tension was so thick I felt bad for the pixels. The pickup choices are weirdly specific sometimes, like you'll get three options and two of them are clearly wrong but the third one is also wrong just in a different way. I wish there was more buildup before the affair stuff kicks in, but that's probably just me wanting more of that slow burn. Speaking of the couple, they're both planning affairs which is kinda the whole point. The husband's got his thing going on, the wife's got hers, and you're just steering the ship into the rocks or away from them depending on your mood. I forgot what I was gonna say about the romance angle. It's there but it's more like, transactional romance? Like everyone's got an angle. One scene where the wife meets her potential guy at a cafe, the way she crosses her legs under the table, that little detail stuck with me for no reason. The game runs in browser so no download nonsense, just click and go, which is nice when you're on a phone or whatever. The whole thing feels like a soap opera where you get to be the writer but also the writer is kinda drunk and making bad decisions on purpose.
