Dragonball Ceno Trainer

A weird thing happens with the mouse cursor just floating over C-18’s portrait, not even clicking. The whole screen stutters for a second, like the browser doesn’t know what to do with itself. The “training” in Dragonball Ceno Trainer trips over its own shoelaces right away. It’s basically a flash-era kind of deal, a parody that mashups Dragonball Z with a dom vibe that feels pretty misplaced. You pick a character, I went with the obvious blond android route, and then you click. A lot. The art has that sketched, halfway finished look, like someone got bored of their own project but uploaded it anyway. A few of the scenes have an odd charm, that early 2000s hentai site pop-up energy, but the domination stuff is so robotic. The same loop plays out, her shocked expression freezing while some poorly written text pops up about power levels and submission. It’s like a repetitive strain injury with a patch of pubic hair poorly drawn in. A memory of DBZ where I got genuinely surprised was the Ginyu Force’s silly poses. This has none of that weird humor. Then you stare at the stamina bar. You just watch it drain, refill it with a different button, then drain it again. At one point the audio glitched, a low buzzing noise that replaced the cheesy synth track and honestly made it feel more immersive by accident. The dissonance is real. It wants to be this edgy corruption thing, but the grind flattens any of that heat into nothing. My hand cramped. Not from what you’d think, just from the actual clicking. A random NPC from Kakarot has more personality than this interface. I scrolled twitter between rounds, the ultimate sin for a game trying to be explicit. I never even tapped the fusion dance joke option because the whole thing just sort of collapsed into a heap of missed potential and repetitive stress.
