FT: Christmas Adventures

The menu screen is a mess, like someone threw red and green pixels at a wall and called it festive. No font size options, no contrast toggle, nothing. As someone who squints at everything, I was already annoyed before the first minigame loaded. Then the blonde shows up with tits bigger than her head and I forgot why I was mad. The core loop is simple. Click through dialogue, play a timing minigame, get a hentai scene. The humor is actually decent, some genuinely funny lines about Christmas being a capitalist scam while she's half naked. But the minigame itself, you have to hit a moving target with your mouse and the hitbox is tiny. I failed like six times in a row. My wrist hurt. I almost closed the tab. Then the scene unlocked and, okay, the art is rough but the animation is smooth enough. Big bouncing everything. The sound design is just jingle bells on loop, which gets old fast but fits the xmas tag. There's a moment where she asks if you've been naughty or nice and the game actually tracks your minigame performance. If you fail too much, she calls you pathetic. That made me laugh. Then I felt bad. Then I kept playing. Wish there was a way to skip the minigames entirely. There won't be. The developer clearly thinks the challenge is part of the charm. It's not. But the scenes are worth it if you're into exaggerated proportions and don't mind the lack of polish. The blonde's expressions are the best part, she goes from annoyed to desperate in a way that feels earned. I never figured out what the candy cane item does. Maybe nothing. Maybe it's just there to look festive. Whatever. The game is free, runs in browser, and doesn't pretend to be more than it is. Just don't expect accessibility options or a pause button that actually works. The pause button is a lie. It keeps playing the jingle bells.
