But then the third puzzle had this one piece, a corner piece with a sliver of eye and hair, and I couldn't find where it went. Just stared at it, moving the same three squares back and forth. The simplicity becomes a trap. You're not playing for the art anymore, you're playing to make the clunking stop. It's a strange, meditative friction. This is for the player who finds a broken, glitchy thing more honest than a polished experience. Someone who's seen enough perfectly rendered 3D scenes to be bored by them and craves the texture of a janky, single purpose website from a forgotten corner of the internet. The kind of thing you'd never show anyone but would return to because it doesn't pretend to be anything other than a delivery system for massive cartoon breasts and a mild brain teaser.
