Pussymon: Episode 35

The quest log says 7 main things to do but I got stuck on a side quest for like 20 minutes because the trigger was a random bush that didn't even sparkle. Classic RPG bullshit, I respect it. Episode 35 of Pussymon, right. The dev admits it's a smaller update because they're already cooking 36, which is fine, whatever. Three new characters show up, one of them is this mysterious foe type, all shadowy and ominous in the text, but honestly I was just clicking through the 200 lines of dialogue to get to the new animations. There's 16 of those, and one is hidden in that side quest I mentioned. The new Pussymon designs are getting weirder, in a good way. One of them, I think it's the one that'll join your party later, has this slime-like body but with fur? Makes no biological sense but the way it moves during the scene... yeah. The cheat manager is locked behind the Patreon special edition, which, of course it is. I wish the base game had a faster way to skip battles I've already won ten times. The grinding is real, and not the fun kind. But then you get a scene with Bridget and suddenly you forget you were annoyed. The animations have variations now, not just the same loop. Like, the position shifts based on... something? I didn't check the stats. The sound design is still just default RPG Maker beeps and boops, which is jarring when a very explicit furry animation is playing out with all the wetness and squelching you'd expect from the visual but none of the audio. My brain fills it in, I guess. The new legendary Pussymon bonus scene is apparently in the special edition too. The main story is teasing some bigger threat, revelations and all that. I clicked through most of it. Look, the writing is there, the lore is building, but I'm here for the monster girls getting railed in 16 new ways. And on that front, episode 35 delivers even if it's a bit short. The DASH and Val stuff is coming in 36, so this is just the appetizer. A horny appetizer with fur and questionable consent mechanics, as god intended.
