I was messing around on Spankbang, right, and this ad keeps popping up. Some blonde with that very specific 90s hair, you know the kind, the big bangs. I thought it was just another one of those puzzle games where the reward is a jpeg that’s been compressed more times than my travel pillow. But the mechanic is weirdly specific. It’s that old J-Jump thing, the pachinko style where you drop a ball and it curves around a rail. You’re aiming for targets at the bottom, but instead of just points, the targets have playing cards on them. You’re trying to build a Blackjack hand without busting. The real model, her name is Sofi or Sophie or something, I already forgot, she just stares at you with this bored expression. The animation is janky as hell. When you win a round, her jacket just sort of... phases off her shoulders. It’s not a smooth strip, it’s like the clothing item gets scared and jumps away from her body. I actually laughed out loud the first time her bra vanished. The physics on the ball drop are also completely cursed. Sometimes it’ll just decide to ignore the J-shaped rail entirely and plummet straight down like a little metal suicide pact. I wish there was a way to control the drop power, but there isn’t, and there never will be. You just click and pray to the RNG gods. The juiciest scene, the final one where she’s completely naked, is like watching a mannequin have a very mild existential crisis. She does this little shimmy that’s supposed to be a striptease but looks more like she’s trying to remember if she left the oven on. Her pixelated crotch is just a blurry smudge, like a secret in a Japanese video game from 1998. I kept playing though, not because it was hot, but because the card counting element got its hooks in me. I was genuinely trying to figure out the odds of getting a four of clubs on the third drop. The erotic part became secondary to beating my own high score. That’s probably not what the dev intended.
