the translation is a mess. i switched to japanese halfway through because the english text kept doing this thing where characters would say something and then the next line would completely contradict it, like the editor fell asleep. you know that feeling when you're reading and suddenly you're not sure if you missed a scene or the game just doesn't care? that's this whole experience. the polyglot in me is screaming. the horny part of me is also screaming but for different reasons. there's this one girl, the tsundere type obviously, who keeps threatening to kick the protagonist and then two scenes later she's feeding him lunch and nobody acknowledges the whiplash. i actually laughed out loud when the childhood friend character showed up and the mc said "oh, you again" like she was a random npc. the game never explains why he's in this isekai world either. he just wakes up there and immediately five women want his dick. which, fine, that's the genre, but at least pretend there's a reason. the sex scenes are... there. the cg art is actually pretty decent when it loads properly, which is about seventy percent of the time on my browser. got a weird glitch where one character's face disappeared during a blowjob scene and i just sat there staring at a floating mouth for like thirty seconds before refreshing. the writing during these scenes is somehow more coherent than the actual plot, which tells you where the priorities were. lots of "you like that?" and moaning text that scrolls way too fast. i kept missing dialogue because the auto-advance is tuned for someone who reads at the speed of light. the harem dynamics are standard stuff. you got the energetic one, the shy one, the mature one, the competitive one. they all blend together after a while because the localization makes everyone sound identical. like they ran every line through the same google translate session and called it a day. there's a scene where two characters are supposed to be arguing but they're using the exact same speech patterns and i couldn't tell who was talking.
