You know that feeling when you're just scrolling through and something catches your eye not because it's beautiful but because it's... unpolished in that specific way? Like the dev definitely spent 47 hours on the mom's ass physics and then forgot what a doorknob looks like. That's this game. The dad is a Navy SEAL which is hilarious because he's never around, probably off doing secret missions while his wife walks around in these tiny shorts that ride up exactly where they shouldn't. The moving across the country plot is whatever. Who cares. What matters is the mom character has this way of bending over to pick up boxes where the camera just... lingers. You can literally feel the programmer sweating through the screen. There's a scene where you're supposed to be unpacking but instead you're watching her through a crack in the door and the animation is so janky it loops like three times before you realize you've been staring at it for way too long. My roommate walked in and I had to pretend I was looking at spreadsheets. Spreadsheets! Like that's any better. The groping mechanics are clumsy as hell. You'll be trying to do one thing and accidentally trigger a completely different scene. There's this one moment in the kitchen where I meant to just talk to her but somehow ended up in a situation where she's pressed against the counter and I couldn't figure out how to back out of it. Not that I tried very hard. The stripping is weirdly slow, like someone who's never actually seen a woman take off clothes designed it. But that awkwardness somehow makes it more... something. Not realistic. The opposite of realistic. But memorable. Sometimes the dialogue options don't make sense. You'll pick what seems like a normal response and suddenly everyone's acting like you suggested something wildly inappropriate. Which, I mean, is probably what you wanted anyway. The masturbation scenes have this exhibitionist edge where you're never quite sure who might walk in. That tension is the only thing that actually works consistently. Everything else is a mess but that one thing? Chef's kiss. Or whatever.
