Screw Town: Christmas Shopping

Right, so the pickup minigame. You click on the shop girl and a little bar fills up. Or doesn't. It's basically a timing puzzle dressed up as flirting, and the feedback is so barebones it's almost performance art. The bar wobbles, you click, she either smiles or gives you this dead eyed stare that made me laugh out loud. The whole thing feels like someone coded it in a weekend after discovering what a variable is. And I mean that as a compliment. Sort of. The shop itself is this weird little hub. You can buy items with coins you earn from... somewhere? I still don't know how the economy works. A Santa hat appeared in my inventory and I have no memory of purchasing it. Giving gifts is supposed to unlock scenes but half the time the item just vanishes and nothing happens. The puzzle aspect is just matching shapes in a gift wrapping screen that shows up randomly. I spent ten minutes trying to trigger it again and got a loading screen that was just the word "fucktown" in comic sans. Not joking. The sex scene, when you finally brute force your way to it, is aggressively mediocre. The animation loops are stiff, the sound is a single wet slap on repeat, and the dialogue is pure poetry. "Here juicy pussy" is an actual line. I screenshotted it. The whole thing has this chaotic energy like the creator was learning the engine as they went and just said fuck it, ship it. There's a charm to that. A broken, janky charm. The Christmas theme is barely there, just some tinsel on the UI and a snowflake that clips through the girl's head during the deed. I don't know if I hated it or if it's my new favorite thing to show people when they ask what adult games are like. Probably both. The shop music loops every eight seconds and I can still hear it.
