Fuck me, the menu screen looks like someone learned Renpy last Tuesday. That's the first thing. Not the deep philosophical questions about free will the description brags about. Just this unpolished, slightly janky 3d render of some guy who's supposed to be Matthew staring at nothing. And you know what? It kinda works for the whole vibe. This isn't some slick, overproduced porn game. It's raw. The core loop is you, some kind of unseen entity, guiding this sad sack graduate. My first run I tried to minmax his trust. Pure strategy. Get the numbers up, unlock the scenes, save the world efficiently. Picked all the strict, no-bullshit dialogue options. Thought I was being a genius. Then the game throws a curveball. Matthew just... shuts down. Gets all moody. Wouldn't cooperate. My perfect plan, ruined because I forgot the idiot has feelings. The ethical dilemmas aren't just window dressing. You can feel the game judging your cold logic. The hot scenes, when they finally happen, feel almost like a reward for not being a complete sociopath. There's this one with a side character, a scientist, that comes out of nowhere if you push Matthew down a certain path of "pleasure and amazing experiences." The 3d models aren't top tier, a bit plastic, but the animation is surprisingly fluid. The way she grabs his hair. Yeah. The writing is the weirdest part. It tries so hard to be profound about morality and life itself, and sometimes it just sounds like a first year philosophy student after a bong rip. But then it'll hit you with a line of dialogue during a sex scene that's so blunt and filthy it makes you forget the clunky sci-fi plot. "Will you gain his trust, lead him on a path of pleasure?" Yeah, I did that. And the collective doom happened anyway. My bad. I need a DLC that just lets me be a complete degenerate without the fate of humanity hanging over my head. Just the hot scenes and the relationship drama, forget the alien invasion or whatever the actual threat is. The pressure the description mentions is real, and honestly, I just wanted to see some tits without a game over screen about billions dying. Is that too much to ask?
