I keep coming back to this one, not because it’s good, but because it’s like a philosophical experiment in digital seduction gone wrong. The whole thing is a vip area, supposedly, some exclusive backroom where this blonde named Sindi finally agrees to show you more after weeks of fake texting on a fake dating app. The model they used is cute, I’ll give them that. Real cute. But the whole experience is so unpolished it circles back around to being fascinating, like watching a student film where the boom mic keeps dipping into frame. You’re just picking dialogue options, trying to get her to lift her top, and the words you choose feel simultaneously weightless and weirdly consequential. There’s a cake. I don’t know why there’s a cake. At one point you’re talking about frosting, and I think it’s supposed to be erotic but it just made me want actual cake, which I didn’t have. The pickup mechanics are basically non-existent, just a series of binary choices that lead to the same blurry payoff. I found myself clicking through, not even reading the text after a while, just chasing the dopamine hit of a new jpeg. And then I got it, and it was... fine? The explicit content is there, don’t get me wrong, but it’s framed in this weirdly sterile way, like a medical diagram with a come-hither stare. I think what bothers me most, and I’m still thinking about this, is the sound design. Or lack of it. There’s this one looping ambient track that sounds like a refrigerator hum recorded in an abandoned mall. It’s haunting. It makes the whole erotic dating scenario feel like a creepypasta. You’re supposed to be aroused, but I was mostly just unnerved. The whole thing is a mess. A glorious, confusing, accidentally profound mess about the transactional nature of desire in the digital age, or maybe it’s just a cheap browser game with a blonde and a cake. I honestly can’t tell anymore.
