Sophie's hiding spot behind the barrels, you can see her breathing, and the pirate AI doesn't pretend to search, it just walks straight to her. That's either lazy or intentional, like the game is saying you were never going to save them. The quest structure is thin, mostly "go here, trigger scene, repeat" but the historical pirate setting gives it a grimy texture that most adult games skip. You feel the salt and sweat.
