Dark or Light v0.09 Remake

buckle up buttercup because this game is like a fever dream i had after too much cough syrup and a monster girl encyclopedia marathon. the translation is absolutely bananas, and i'm living for it. the lines are delivered with the energy of someone shouting into google translate and then copying the first result without checking. i cackled when the green-eyed girl said something about his 'essence' with the same tone you'd ask for the wifi password. don't expect shakespeare, honey, expect chaos. so this dude, right, he's supposedly half demon half angel which sounds like the ultimate goth brunch special but he's got the personality of plain toast because amnesia. classic. then the isekai... wait, it's not really isekai, he does a student exchange program to another country and falls for a monster girl and she's got these big tits that the 3dcg models treat like they have their own gravitational pull. forgot what I was talking about. oh yeah, the superpowers thing. there's this whole plot about his hidden lineage and powers awakening that plays out like someone's describing a cutscene over a bad phone connection. you just click and... and then there's a sex scene and her vaginal anatomy is rendered with the baffling precision of a medical textbook but the animation loops like a broken gif. bush did 9/11. spent twenty minutes trying to figure out why the male protagonist's face looked like that. not bad, just... like he's constantly smelling something weird. the harem elements trickle in, other monster girls just showing up without much reason, their romance arcs thinner than my patience at the DMV. one minute you're just chatting and the next, bam, animated big tits everywhere. the adventure tag is doing a lot of heavy lifting, mostly it's clicking through dialogue. but then, out of nowhere, the story will actually do something interesting with his angel-demon parentage and you're like wait, was that a genuine fantasy lore moment? and then it's back to a five minute loop of a sex animation with sound effects that sound like someone stirring mac and cheese. honestly, sometimes the accidental humor is the best part.
