Battle Tricks

The whole thing runs on a card system where number beats lower number, but here's the thing nobody mentions. One round I'm sweating through a 50/50 guess against the AI, next round the same matchups repeat like the shuffle never happened. I started tracking it. Real talk, the RNG feels drunk sometimes. My knight deck had this one queen card that kept appearing at the worst moments and I swear the game has favorites. Anyway the actual point is watching the opponent lose their clothes. The model is some real woman, not drawn, which gives it this weird documentary feel. She's doing this coy striptease thing where she covers up between poses. like hands over tits then slowly moving them away. The lighting on the skin is off though, too flat like someone pointed a desk lamp at her. Unity textures doing what Unity textures do. There's this one moment where she's down to just panties and the animation loops with a slight stutter and my brain just latched onto that instead of anything sexy. Sound design exists I guess. Some medieval-ish loop that I muted after three rounds. The arcade element is basically speedrunning the card picks. Strip mechanics trigger on win streaks but the pacing is weird. sometimes you get three reveals in a minute, other times you're stuck in card purgatory for what feels like forever. No penalty for losing except your patience. The cover mechanic where she hides herself, that's the whole tension engine. tilt and reveal. I wish the card battles had any strategy beyond basic math. Tap higher number, win. Tap lower, lose. My cat could optimize this. But then I'm not here for the card gameplay am I. The strip sequences are fine. Functional. The model has this dead-eyed expression that either kills the mood or makes it funnier depending on your headspace.
