okay so right off the bat i cant figure out if this thing is more horny or more confused about what it wants to be, and that kinda works in its favor honestly. the game drops you in as some 19 year old nobody and immediately dumps about seven different apocalypses on his head. typical. the cg hentai art has this unpolished charm, like someone drew it in krita at an angle where their wrist was hurting and they just said fuck it, good enough. some frames are gorgeous, the way light catches on those massive, physics defying tits when a magic portal opens behind a character. then the very next scene looks like it was sketched on a napkin. i kept clicking just to see which version i'd get next. the inconsistency is weirdly compelling, like flipping through an old doujin you weren't supposed to find. got distracted for twenty minutes just exploring a space station cantina. forgot there was supposed to be a war between magic and sci fi or whatever. the game doesnt rush you. you can just sit there making dialogue choices that lead to some genuinely hot scenes with elf women who talk like they're reading off a teleprompter. the localization is rough, sentences sometimes break in half, but that adds to the whole lo fi vibe. like listening to a vaporwave track where the sample glitches. the big choice they keep shoving at you, magic or tech, honestly i kept putting it off because the neutral path has this one scene with a witch and a hologram at the same time that i wont spoil but my god. the writing during the sex scenes is weirdly poetic in places, clumsy in others, a lot of "he touched her breast and she gasped" energy but then suddenly a sentence that makes you pause. after that i kinda forgot what i was doing again. something about a war. there's a mute catgirl in the tech district who communicates by typing on a little datapad and her scene is achingly tender for no reason. this game is a mess. a beautiful, horny mess.
