I keep thinking about the gear shift animation. It's so janky. The hand model clips through the knob every single time, like the dev just gave up and said "fuck it, nobody's looking at the shifter anyway." And maybe they're right because the whole point is what happens after you cross the finish line. This is a hentai racer where Vin Diesel's charm, I'm sorry, YOUR Vin Diesel charm, is the key to getting these massively endowed street racers out of their clothes. The parody angle is barely there, just enough to avoid a lawsuit. You pick a car, you race, and if you win, the girl you beat decides to celebrate by doing things that would get you arrested at a real track day. The muscle cars are rendered with this weird, almost greasy shine, like they were coated in cooking oil. The physics are arcade nonsense, pure drift button glory, but honestly the racing is just a minigame to get to the tits. And the tits. They have their own physics engine, I swear. A separate, more lovingly crafted physics engine that operates on some kind of jello based quantum mechanics. A slight turn of the car and a character's chest will continue its trajectory for a solid two seconds. It's hypnotic and deeply stupid. I spent an embarrassing amount of time just fishtailing to watch the chaos. The whole setup is so aggressively single minded. You win a race, a static image of a girl with anatomy that defies basic skeletal structure appears, and then a looped animation plays. The "charm" mechanic is literally just winning. There's no dialogue tree, no seduction minigame. You drive fast, she gets naked. It's the emotional depth of a parking ticket. The sound design is a single royalty free Eurobeat track that loops endlessly, drilling into your skull until you can't tell if you're aroused or just developing tinnitus. There's a weird bug where sometimes the opponent's car just vanishes on the final lap, leaving you to race a ghost. I think that's a bug. Maybe it's a feature, representing the fleeting nature of desire. Probably a bug though.
