The game doesn't even try to be polished, you can see the rough edges in every CG, but somehow that makes it... more? Like finding a dirty magazine in a hunting lodge, it feels wrong in the right way. Miss Kamura wants to buy this cabin, and you're along for the ride. I picked Darika, the 21 year old stepdaughter, because the other one seemed too... I don't know, not my type? The game gives you choices, simple ones, but I kept second-guessing myself. There's this moment where she's bored, just sitting there, and you have to figure out what to do. The pacing is weird, sometimes nothing happens for what feels like forever, then suddenly she's touching herself and you're like wait, did I choose that? The visuals are static but the way they're framed, the close-ups, it's like the artist knew exactly where your eyes would go. The cabin creaks in the background, a sound I didn't notice until my third playthrough, and now I can't unhear it. I got stuck on one scene for way too long. Darika's alone, the rain's still going, and she starts... exploring. The game doesn't rush you. You click, she moves, you click again. I kept thinking about her stepmother somewhere in the house, oblivious. The whole thing feels like a fever dream where the low production values actually help, like a VHS tape that's been watched too many times. The choices matter but also don't? I replayed and got the same scene twice, which pissed me off until I realized I was clicking too fast. There's no real adventure here, just a horny girl in a cabin and you, trying to keep her entertained. The nature tag is doing a lot of heavy lifting, it's mostly just trees outside a window. But that rain. I'll remember the rain.
