You know that moment when you’re on a site like Flingster and the connection drops right when things get interesting? That’s the whole emotional arc of this thing. It’s a video chat with Yvette, a “real model” who’s apparently into partying and the kind of rough sex that makes you wonder if her headboard is reinforced. The game, if you can call it that, is basically a loop of her teasing, you picking options that feel like they matter but don’t, and her eventually getting down to business. The pickup part is laughably thin. You say something, she giggles, and suddenly clothes are optional. The sex for cash angle is weird because you never actually see any money change hands. It’s just implied, like a background radiation of transactional sleaze that makes the whole thing feel a bit grimy in a way I can’t decide is intentional or just lazy writing. The rough sex tag is accurate though. When it finally gets to the point, it’s not gentle. There’s a moment where she’s on the bed and the animation loops in a way that looks more like an exorcism than passion. I laughed, then felt bad, then laughed again. The real model thing is the hook, obviously. Yvette looks like she walked out of a 2008 MySpace angle photo, which is a vibe I didn’t expect to revisit. But the “game” part is a lie. It’s an ad. It has to be. You never finish it, it just sort of… stops suggesting new things and you’re left staring at a loop, wondering if you missed a button or if the whole point was to get you to click through to the actual dating site. I kept clicking “next” like a lab rat hoping for a pellet and got nothing. The audio cuts out once and I thought my laptop died. Wishful thinking, maybe. There’s no payoff, just a digital coitus interruptus that leaves you with a strange mix of frustration and the distinct feeling you’ve been had by a very pretty, very pixelated con artist.
